This housing simply beats all others in its class with powerful features and aesthetics including detention-grade, anti-ligature construction (10-gauge material with 3/8” thick Lexan window), #304 stainless steel with brushed #4 finish, IP69 rated with fully sealed door/window for washdown resistance, tamper-proof recessed fasteners, camera angle bracket with 70° of vertical tilt for blind spot mitigation, and designed to leave less than 2mm between housing and adjoining wall/ceiling surfaces to minimize or eliminate epoxy application. The reason we use Lexan for the window is that it has an impact resistance around 250 times better than glass.
